- Water - 1 cup
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 4.6 oz
- Ground dried cherries - 4.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2½ cups
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Light Raisins, Seedless - 6.7 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - ¾ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - 1½ teaspoons
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Vanilla salt - 1½ teaspoons
- Chopped almonds - 4.6 oz
- 70% Dark Chocolate - 8.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F. Grease and lightly flour a rectangular baking dish.
Step 2
Pour boiling water over the dried fruits and let sit for 20 minutes, then drain.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Beat the softened butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla with a mixer until creamy. Then reduce the mixer speed and add the flour, mixing well, and incorporate the dried fruits, chopped almonds, and chopped chocolate.
Step 5
Spread the batter evenly in the baking dish and bake until done, about 25-30 minutes. Cool in the dish, transfer to a plate, and cut into squares.
