Peach Cream Gelato
Ingredients
- Donut Peaches - 17.6 oz
- Water - ½ cup
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Cream (40%) - 1 cup
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Chop into small pieces, transfer to a saucepan, and add water and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes until soft, stirring occasionally. Let cool.
Step 2
Transfer the peaches to a blender and puree until smooth. Strain through a sieve, pressing to extract all the juice and pulp.
Step 3
Add the cream and lemon juice and chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
Step 4
Freeze in an ice cream maker or transfer to a container and place in the freezer until solid, stirring a few times.
