Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 14.1 oz
- Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Sour Cream - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Vanillin - 0.5 oz
- Poppy seed paste - 2 tablespoons
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- Canned Peaches - 17.6 oz
- Gelatin - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mash the cottage cheese, add sugar and vanillin, mix, then add sour cream and softened butter.
Step 2
Soak the gelatin in the syrup from the peaches and let it swell. Make a puree from the peaches.
Step 3
Pour hot milk over the poppy seeds, add 2 tablespoons of sugar, and reduce while stirring constantly. Dissolve the gelatin by placing it in a water bath (or on low heat), stirring constantly.
Step 4
Combine the gelatin with the peach puree, then add it to the cottage cheese mixture. Divide the resulting mixture into two parts. Add the poppy seeds to one part.
Step 5
In a mold lined with cheesecloth, alternate layers of the cottage cheese mixtures with and without poppy seeds. Cover with the ends of the cheesecloth and refrigerate for several hours.
