Description
The most complex-looking dessert in our selection. But it's very easy to make. Store-bought or pre-made pastry is used. A cream is prepared separately, which is then layered between the pastry. This recipe was shared with us by John Smith, a chef at a local café.
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry - 14.1 oz
- Donut Peaches - 28.2 oz
- 33% Cream - 13 fl oz
- Muscovado Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 fl oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 7.1 oz
- Natural Yogurt - 7.1 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 2.8 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.1 oz
- Hazelnut - 2.1 oz
- Whole egg - 8 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Roll out the puff pastry as thinly as possible.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and press the dough onto it. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the stones from some of the peaches.
Step 4
Sauté the peaches with sugar in a skillet for about 5 minutes.
Step 5
Add the cream and reduce it by one third.
Step 6
Place the cooled peaches in a blender container, and blend them with cream cheese and vanilla.
Step 7
Then, prepare the cream with the egg yolks in a double boiler until it thickens.
Step 8
Blend the yogurt with the leftover peach, powdered sugar, and lemon juice.
Step 9
Chop the hazelnuts finely.
Step 10
Place the dough on a plate, add the custard, drizzle with yogurt, and sprinkle with hazelnuts. Repeat layer by layer until all the ingredients are used up. Finally, dust the top with a small amount of powdered sugar.
