Description
A very quick recipe for a light sponge cake!
Ingredients
- Canned Peaches - 28.2 oz
- Vanilla Protein Powder - 4 teaspoons
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Bittersweet Chocolate - 3.5 oz
- Sponge Cake Base - 3 pieces
- Cream (40%) - 2 cups
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour all the cream into a bowl, add the pudding powder, and whip until a creamy mixture forms.
Step 2
Take the can of peaches, we don't need the syrup, so you can pour it out. Remove the peaches and cut them into small pieces. Next, add all the peaches to the pudding and mix well!
Step 3
Take the sponge cake layers and spread a thick, even layer of the peach mixture on each (we have two layers). Cover with the third layer and gently press down on the center of the cake to make it level (don't press too hard, as the layers may break).
Step 4
Melt the butter with the chocolate in a double boiler, stirring until smooth (I prefer a thicker consistency, so I added a bit of flour).
Step 5
Finally, pour the chocolate over the last layer and spread it evenly across the entire surface.
Step 6
Place the cake in the refrigerator overnight (or for 6 hours). The pudding needs time to set.
