- Canned Peaches - 30 oz
- Butter - 0.9 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Ground Almonds - 0.9 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 1.9 oz
- Orange bitters - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped almonds - 0.9 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the peaches in a shallow baking dish. Melt the butter and drizzle it over the peaches. Place the dish under a preheated broiler and keep it there for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, turn the peaches over, and bake for another 5 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, whip the egg white to stiff peaks, adding powdered sugar one tablespoon at a time until all the sugar is incorporated. Add the ground almonds and gently pour in the liqueur.
Step 3
Spread the mixture over the peaches and sprinkle with finely chopped almonds or a nut mixture. Keep under the broiler for 4 minutes until the meringue turns a golden brown. Serve.
