- Sugar - 2 cups
- Water - 1 cup
- Light Corn Syrup - 1 cup
- Peanut Sprouts - 24 oz
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla salt - 1 teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour water, syrup, and sugar into a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
Step 2
Heat to a temperature of 250°F (use a candy thermometer).
Step 3
Add peanuts and cook until the temperature rises to 329°F.
Step 4
Carefully add butter and vanilla. Mix well. Then add baking soda and mix again.
Step 5
Spread the mixture onto greased parchment paper and let it set.
Step 6
Once set, break into pieces.
