Pear Almond Pie
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 4.4 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Pears - 3 pieces
- Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the nuts into a hot skillet. Transfer the toasted nuts to a blender and grind them into flour.
Step 2
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add sugar. Whisk the mixture lightly with a whisk.
Step 3
Add the cut pieces of room temperature butter. Mix everything until smooth.
Step 4
Add the nut flour and mix. Then add the sifted flour with baking powder.
Step 5
Cut two pears into small cubes and the last one into thin slices. Add the pear cubes to the batter and mix.
Step 6
Transfer the resulting batter into a baking pan greased with vegetable oil. Arrange the pear slices in a circle on top of the batter, previously dusted with vanilla sugar.
Step 7
Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 320°F for about 60–80 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden stick.
