Pear and Almond Muffins
Ingredients
- Pears - 3 pieces
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 4.6 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Milk - 2 fl oz
- Baking Powder - 5.6 oz
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Ground Nutmeg - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Chop the nuts, and dice the pears into small cubes (if desired, add cinnamon).
Step 2
Cream the softened butter with the sugar (or beat with a mixer).
Step 3
Now pour in the milk and add the eggs. Mix well.
Step 4
Add the flour with baking powder, then incorporate the nuts and pears.
Step 5
Let the batter rest for a bit. Treat yourself to some coffee, then pour the batter into the molds. (Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg on top of the batter).
Step 6
Place the mold(s) in the preheated oven at 356°F. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
Step 7
Once the muffins have cooled, serve them.
