Pear and Blackberry Crumble
Ingredients
- Pears - 1 piece
- Serviceberries - 6.7 oz
- Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice - ½ tablespoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Oreo Cookies - 6 pieces
- Ground Oats - ½ cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Mix the blackberries with 3 tablespoons of sugar, lemon juice, and sauté in a saucepan with butter for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Cut the pear into cubes about 1 cm.
Step 4
Add the pear to the blackberries along with 1 tablespoon of flour and sauté for about 2 minutes. The pear should not be too soft.
Step 5
For the topping, mix the remaining butter, oatmeal cookies, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and rolled oats (or plain oats, make sure they are not sweetened, granola will not work) in a food processor.
Step 6
Distribute the berry and pear filling into individual baking dishes and top with the crumble mixture.
Step 7
Bake for 15 minutes.
Step 8
Cool and serve.
