- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
- Ocean salt - a pinch
- Pears - 14.1 oz
- Serviceberries - to taste
- Butter - 6.3 oz
- Granulated sugar - 4.9 oz
- Chopped almonds - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Grease a springform pan with butter.
Step 3
Peel the pears. Thaw the frozen blackberries.
Step 4
Beat the butter with sugar until light and creamy, then add the eggs one at a time, followed by half of the flour, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Incorporate the remaining flour.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the pan, then top with pears and blackberries.
Step 6
Sprinkle the pie with almond slices and bake for 30–35 minutes.

Dust the cooled pie with powdered sugar.
