Description

- Puff Pastry - 1 piece
- Pears - 2 pieces
- Poppy seed paste - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Clarified Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Citrus Zest Mix - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide

Prepare the ingredients.

Peel the pears and cut them into quarters, removing the core.

Then slice them into pieces no thicker than half a centimeter.

In a skillet, heat the clarified butter.

Add the sliced pears and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Stir and add sugar.

Cook the pears over low heat until partially cooked (about seven minutes should be sufficient).

Place the pastry in a baking dish (it is better to use a non-stick mat or parchment paper as well).

Arrange the pears on the pastry and evenly sprinkle a handful of poppy seeds over the surface.

Fold the edges as desired and brush the pastry edges with egg.

Grate the zest on top of the pie.
