Pear Sorbet with Berry Sauce
Ingredients
- Pears - 8.8 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar - 2.6 oz
- Frozen Cherimoya Fruits - 17.6 oz
- Raspberry leaves - 8.8 oz
- Liqueur - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Blend the canned pears with syrup from the can, sugar, and the juice of one lemon in a blender or food processor. Transfer to a large freezer container. Freeze for 2.5 hours until it freezes along the edges.
Step 2
In a clean bowl, whip the egg whites until frothy. Add to the frozen pear mixture and blend. Freeze for another 2.5 hours.
Step 3
Prepare the sauce. For this, thaw the frozen fruits. Drain the juice from the berries and add it to the raspberry juice. Blend in a blender. Strain through a sieve with the back of a spoon to remove the seeds. Mix any fruit liqueur with the berry mixture.
Step 4
Transfer the sorbet to the refrigerator 20 minutes before serving. Serve with the sauce.
