Ingredients
- Pears - 17.6 oz
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Sherry - ½ glasses
- Almond - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, wash and peel the pears. Without removing the stem from the bottom of the pear, remove the core and seeds.
Step 2
Pour 1 liter of water into a pot, add 1/2 cup of sugar, add the pears, and boil.
Step 3
Strain the broth, measure out one and a half cups, add the remaining sugar, bring to a boil, pour in the wine, add the poached pears, and let it cool.
Step 4
Blanch the almonds, peel off the skins, and slice each nut lengthwise into four to five pieces.
Step 5
Place it on a clean skillet and roast in the oven until it turns golden brown.
Step 6
Place the cooled pears in small bowls with the stems facing up and drizzle with syrup. Insert pieces of toasted almonds into the pears.
