- Red Grape Juice - 25 fl oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Cinnamon - 1 piece
- Clove - 1 piece
- Star anise - 1 piece
- Green peppercorns - 5 pieces
- Oranges - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Pour the wine into the pot.
Step 3
Add sugar.
Step 4
Add cinnamon.
Step 5
Add cloves, star anise, pepper, and the zest of one orange. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

Peel the pears, leaving the stems intact.
Step 7
Place them in the wine syrup and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 8
Remove from heat and let it cool.
Step 9
Place the pear in a deep plate.
Step 10
Drizzle with wine syrup and serve.
