Ingredients
- Shortcrust Cake Mix - 8.5 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 8.8 oz
- Cheshire Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Scallions - 2.1 oz
- Feta cheese - 2.1 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Fresh basil leaves - 20 pieces
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Cut the tomatoes in half and place them on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in the oven for 50 minutes. Let cool.
Step 2
Roll out the pastry and transfer it to a round shallow pie dish. Prick the pastry in several places and bake for 10 minutes at 392°F. Let cool.
Step 3
For the filling, blend the cheeses, finely chopped onions, and eggs in a food processor until smooth. Add the chopped basil, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Spread the filling over the pastry and gently press the tomatoes on top so they are visible. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 356°F until golden brown. Let cool and serve warm.
