Pie with Smoked Sausage and Chestnuts
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Salt - to taste
- Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
- Peeled chestnuts - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1 head
- Semi-Smoked Sausage - 8.8 oz
- Hard Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 428°F.
Step 2
Mix the flour with the yeast and salt, add 500 ml of water, and knead the dough. Cover the dough and place it in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Peel the chestnuts and chop them with sugar in a blender.
Step 4
Cut the sausage into small cubes and mix it with the chopped onion, garlic clove, and grated cheese.
Step 5
Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll each part thinly on a floured surface.
Step 6
Place one rolled dough on a floured baking sheet, add the filling on top, and cover with the second rolled dough. Pinch the edges.
Step 7
Bake the pie for about 15 minutes.
