Pineapple and Raisin Cake
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Raisins - 5.3 oz
- Hazelnut - 1.8 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Milk - 5 fl oz
- Baking Powder - 0.4 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 1.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Saffron - a pinch
- Salt - a pinch
- Canned Pineapple Chunks - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the raisins in boiling water to plump them up. Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Chop the hazelnuts in a blender until they are finely ground.
Step 3
Cut the pineapple rings into cubes.
Step 4
Beat the egg with sugar, then mix in the flour, oil, nuts, and pineapple. Add the baking powder, saffron, and salt (to taste). Pour in the milk and mix everything thoroughly.
Step 5
Drain the raisins in a sieve to remove all the water. Add the raisins to the batter and mix well.
Step 6
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan. Bake in the oven for 25–30 minutes.
Step 7
Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar.
