Pineapple Cake with Brown Sugar
Ingredients
- Butter - 3.9 oz
- Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Canned Pineapple Chunks - 15.5 oz
- Raw cane sugar - 4.4 oz
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Self-rising flour - 4.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease a ring-shaped cake pan with butter. Place 20 grams of softened butter in the pan, spread it evenly, and sprinkle with brown sugar. Drain the pineapple rings and reserve 4 tablespoons of juice from the can. Cut the rings in half and arrange them on the butter.
Step 2
Beat the remaining butter with raw cane sugar using a mixer until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well.
Step 3
Add the vanilla and mix well. Then fold in the flour and reserved juice. Mix well with a spoon.
Step 4
Spread the batter over the pineapples and smooth it out. Bake for 35–40 minutes until done. Leave in the pan for 10 minutes and transfer to a plate.
