Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Canned Pineapple Chunks - 1 can

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Thaw the pastry in advance, lightly dust the table with flour. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3–4 mm (roll in one direction). Cut the dough into long strips 1–1.5 cm wide.

Step 2

Dry the pineapple ring slightly with a napkin. Roll the ring in powdered sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Step 3

Start wrapping the pineapple ring with a strip of dough through the hole in the center. (You can cut the rings in half to make it easier). Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with lightly beaten egg (this adds shine to the pastry). Place in a preheated oven at 392°F. Bake for about 20–25 minutes.
