- Sesame Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fine white sugar - 6.2 oz
- Pickled Apples - 3 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 10 fl oz
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the batter from flour, egg, and cold water.
Step 2
Remove the core from the apples, peel them, and cut each into eight pieces.
Step 3
Coat the apples in flour, dip them in the batter, and mix well.
Step 4
Heat the frying oil and fry the apples until golden brown. Once cooked, remove them to a paper towel to drain the oil.
Step 5
In a pan, heat the sesame oil, melt the sugar, and bring it to a caramel state.

Add the battered fried apples to the caramel and mix thoroughly.

Serve immediately, along with a bowl of cold water to dip each piece for cooling.
