Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Red Grape Juice - 1 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Vanillin - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Baking Powder - 0.7 oz
- Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the hot log into slices with a very sharp knife. Toast the slices in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
Mix the wine with the sour cream, sugar, and salt until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the oil. Sift the flour and mix it with the baking powder and vanillin, then gradually incorporate it into the previously prepared mixture.
Step 3
Knead a rather stiff dough and shape it into a log on parchment paper, smoothing out any irregularities with a damp palm.
Step 4
Bake for 20 minutes at 170°C.
