Ingredients
- Unbleached flour crackers - 4.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 13.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 15 fl oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour and add sugar, salt, and yeast. While stirring continuously, pour in the water and olive oil.
Step 2
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Step 3
Knead the dough and divide it into 6 equal parts. Roll each part thinly, place on foil greased with olive oil. Let it rise for 1 hour.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 500°F. Bake the pitas for 5 – 6 minutes.
