Ingredients
- Sugar - 2.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Milk - 4 tablespoons
- Plums - 10 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Almonds - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Squeeze the lemon juice. Place 3 tablespoons of sugar, lemon juice, and plums in a pot. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease a baking dish with butter and arrange the plums at the bottom.
Step 3
Beat the butter with the remaining sugar. Add the egg and beat again until light and homogeneous. Gradually incorporate the flour, baking powder, and milk, mixing at low speed.
Step 4
Spread the batter over the plums and sprinkle the almonds on top. Bake for 40 minutes.
