Plum and Apple Pie
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 3.2 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
- Milk - 5 fl oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Plums - 21.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the yeast into warm milk and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Mix the flour with melted butter, sugar, eggs, salt, and warm milk (with yeast) to knead the dough. Leave it in a warm place to rise (cover it to prevent drying out).
Step 3
Wash the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits.
Step 4
Peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
Step 5
Divide the risen dough into three equal parts. Roll each part into a long rectangle and place the apples in the middle of the strip, then roll it up.
Step 6
Line a round baking dish with parchment paper and arrange the rolls in a spiral starting from the center. This will create a 'snail' shape. Insert the plum halves around the layers.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 374°F for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
Step 8
The finished pie can be brushed with butter and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
