Plum and Walnut Cake
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Vanillin - 1 piece
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- 1% Kefir - 7 fl oz
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Baking Powder - 0.4 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Walnuts - 3.5 oz
- Plums - 15 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt 100 g of butter, add sugar, a pinch of salt, and vanillin — mix well. Then add kefir and beat with a mixer for 3 minutes. Gradually add flour and baking powder.
Step 2
Add the egg to the batter and mix well until smooth, then add 50 g of room temperature butter and mix well. After that, add two tablespoons of honey and mix. Any ingredients can be used in the cake! Raisins and nuts are perfect; I used walnuts and plums (previously baked in a pot).
Step 3
Sprinkle some breadcrumbs on the bottom of the cake pan, pour half of the batter into the pan, add the filling, and then top with the remaining batter.
