Plum Pie
Ingredients
- Plums - 28.2 oz
- Wheat Flour - 7.9 oz
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla salt - 0.1 oz
- Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the plums, cut them in half, remove the pits, and set aside.
Step 3
Sift 50 g of powdered sugar and 100 g of flour into a bowl, add 75 g of butter, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon.
Step 4
Attach the dough hook to the mixer, mix the crumb, and set aside.
Step 5
Line the bottom of a springform pan with parchment paper.
Step 6
Sift the remaining powdered sugar into a bowl, add the remaining butter, and beat with a mixer until fluffy.
Step 7
Add the 2 eggs and continue beating.
Step 8
Sift the remaining flour, add the baking powder, and gradually add the flour to the mixture in three additions, mixing thoroughly each time with the mixer.
Step 9
Pour the batter into the pan.
Step 10
Spread it evenly in the pan.
Step 11
Place the plums cut side up on top of the batter.
Step 12
Sprinkle the crumb mixture on top, place the pie in an oven preheated to 347°F (middle rack, 'top-bottom' mode), and bake for 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool.
Step 14
Serve.
