Ingredients
- Sugar - 0,8 glasses
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1 glass
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Salt - a pinch
- Plums - 20 pieces
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 tablespoon
- Baking Powder - ½ spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the butter with 3/4 cup of sugar.
Step 2
Add the eggs one at a time, along with the salt. Whisk again.
Step 3
Gently fold in the flour mixed with the baking powder using a spoon. Don’t go overboard! At this stage, preheat the oven to 175–356°F.
Step 4
Grease the pan with butter, dust it with flour, pour in the batter, and smooth it out.
Step 5
Cut the plums in half. The plums must be dry!
Step 6
Lay the halved plums on top of the dough without pressing them down.
Step 7
Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the plums.
Step 8
Place in a well-preheated oven and bake for 40–45 minutes until a crispy crust forms. The sugar on the plums will caramelize.
