If fresh plums are not available, you can use canned or frozen ones.
Ingredients
- Plums - 26.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Baking Powder - 3 teaspoons
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - a pinch
- Margarine - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits.
Step 2
Then set the oven temperature to 347°F to preheat.
Step 3
Place the flour, baking powder, egg, sugar, cinnamon, and margarine in a large bowl, and mix the ingredients together with your hands.
Step 4
Roll out half of the dough and place it on a greased baking sheet or one lined with parchment paper.
Step 5
Then arrange the halved plums on top of the dough.
Step 6
Roll out the remaining dough, cut it into small pieces, and place it on top of the two lower layers — after baking, they will form a crumb topping.
Step 7
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes.
