Plums with Chocolate

Ingredients

  • Butter - 1.1 oz
  • Plums - 14.1 oz
  • Brown Sugar - 2 spoons
  • Liquid dark chocolate - 6 oz
  • Brazil Nuts - 15 pieces
  • Tkemali (plum sauce) - 4 spoons
  • Port Wine - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the plums and sauté for 2–3 minutes until they soften. Stir in the sugar and cook until it begins to caramelize. Remove from heat.

Step 2

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, making sure the bowl does not touch the boiling water.

Step 3

Pour the plum sauce with port wine over the plums. Spoon the mixture into four serving dishes, garnish with nuts on top, and chill until serving.
