Ingredients
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Dry yeast - 0.5 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Poppy seed paste - 5.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 12.3 oz
- Sugar - 1.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all necessary ingredients.

Pour boiling water over the poppy seeds and let them simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.

Add yeast, egg, and melted butter (30 grams) to the milk.
Step 4
Mix well.
Step 5
Add the flour.
Step 6
Knead the dough.
Step 7
Drain the water from the poppy seeds.
Step 8
Add butter (30 grams), sugar, and egg white.
Step 9
Mix well.
Step 10
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3–4 mm and add the filling.
Step 11
Roll it up and cut into pieces.
Step 12
Place on a baking sheet and brush with egg yolk.

Bake in an oven preheated to 356°F for 25 minutes.

For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with water until liquid. Drizzle over the buns.
