Description
Potato Cake from Homemade Biscuit
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 2.8 oz
- Sugar - 3.2 oz
- Starch film - 0.5 oz
- Butter - 4.4 oz
- Condensed Milk - 2.1 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 2.1 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 5 tablespoons
- Apple Wine - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the biscuit, crack the eggs into a bowl and beat with sugar until the mixture triples in volume. Sift the flour with the starch and add it to the eggs. Mix until there are no lumps.
Step 2
Place in a preheated oven at 374°F for 20 minutes. Check for readiness with a wooden skewer.
Step 3
For the cream, beat the butter with the sifted powdered sugar until fluffy. Add the condensed milk and wine, and mix. Set aside 1 teaspoon of cream in a small bag.
Step 4
Cool the biscuit and crumble it using your preferred method.
Step 5
Mix the crumbs with the cream. Shape the pastries into potato shapes of suitable size (mine are 4 cm long). Roll them in cocoa powder.
Step 6
Make 3 indentations in each pastry and squeeze the cream from the small bag into them. Place the pastries in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
