Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 5 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 5 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Russian Cheese - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the potatoes, peel them, cut into 2–4 pieces, and boil until tender. Drain in a colander to let all the water run off, then mash into a puree and add salt.
Step 2
Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Step 3
Add the egg, cheese, and flour to the puree. With wet hands, form fritters, place them in a skillet, and fry in vegetable oil over medium heat for 5–7 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Place the finished fritters on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Sour cream can be served separately with the fritters.
