Step 1
Wash the potatoes with a brush and peel them.
Step 2
Slice them as thinly as possible — it's easiest to use a slicer or a special grater with a holder for the product, which chefs call a mandoline, but a regular vegetable peeler can also work.
Step 3
Place the potato slices in a single layer on parchment paper. Optionally, sprinkle with salt and add spices to your taste.
Step 4
Cook for 3–5 minutes in the microwave at 700w. As soon as the surface of the slices turns slightly brown, but not before, otherwise the chips won't be crispy, remove them and transfer to paper towels.
Step 5
Repeat the process until all the potatoes are used.
