- Salad Potatoes - 2 lbs
- Dried Chinese mushrooms - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Breadcrumbs - ½ cup
- Vegetable Oil - 4 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the potatoes as you would for potato cutlets.
Step 2
For the filling, rinse the dried mushrooms, boil them, chop finely, and sauté in oil, then add finely chopped sautéed onion, salt, pepper, and mix.
Step 3
Shape the prepared potato mass into small patties, place the mushroom filling in the center, and seal the edges of the patties, shaping them into a crescent.
Step 4
Brush the pies with egg, roll in breadcrumbs, and fry in a heated pan with oil. Serve separately with mushroom sauce. Prepare the sauce using the mushroom broth, adding sour cream or tomato puree. These pies can also be made with vegetable filling.
