- Onion - 1 head
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 0.7 oz

- Crab sticks in brine - 7.1 oz
- Salted crackers - 5.3 oz
- Spanish onions - ½ heads
- Sour Cream - 1.8 oz
- Mayonnaise - 1.8 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 0 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Scallions - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Pierce the potato with a fork and microwave it for 5 minutes. It should remain firm and partially cooked.
Step 3
Peel the potatoes and grate them on a fine grater. Grate the onion on the same grater.
Step 4
Add the egg, flour, salt, and pepper to the potatoes with onions. Mix well.

Preheat the waffle maker and grease it with vegetable oil.

Fry the waffles for 4–5 minutes, until golden brown.

Finely chop the red onion and crab sticks.
Step 8
Drain the brine from the shrimp and mix them with the crab sticks and onion.

Add sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and mix again. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the potato waffles with shrimp salad, garnished with chopped fresh herbs, such as green onions.
