Description
Prague Cake with Chocolate Glaze
Ingredients
- Sugar - 4 spoons
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Condensed Milk - 1½ cans
- Wheat Flour - 1½ spoons
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 4 spoons
- Butter - 8.8 oz
- Bittersweet Chocolate - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, beat 2 eggs and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Add some baking soda, 0.5 can of condensed milk, and 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder. Blend together. Then, add flour and mix.
Step 2
Divide the dough into two parts, pour it into a baking dish, and bake for 30–40 minutes in a preheated oven at a temperature of 130–284°F. To check for doneness, poke the cake with a wooden stick – if there is batter on it, the cake is not ready.
Step 3
For the cream, whip together 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 stick of butter, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Step 4
To make the glaze, melt 200 grams of chocolate in a double boiler and mix it with 50 grams of butter.
Step 5
Cut the layers in half. Spread cream on all layers except for the top one. Assemble the cake and drizzle with glaze on top.
