Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
- Margarine - 3.5 oz
- Dry yeast - 1.1 oz
- Milk - 1 tablespoon
- Chocolate eggs - 7 pieces
- Sugar - ½ teaspoon
- Coarse Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Cervelat Sausage - 21.2 oz
- Hard Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
- Green Peas - 3.5 oz
- Scallions - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, pour it into the sifted flour, add 2 egg yolks, 1 whole egg, melted margarine, sugar, and salt.
Step 2
Knead the dough, cover it, and leave it in a warm place to rise.
Step 3
On a floured board, roll the dough into thin sausages about 10 cm long, twist them into pretzel shapes, brush with egg white, sprinkle with coarse salt, place on a baking sheet, and bake at 374°F for 15–20 minutes.
Step 4
Before serving, place a rolled-up circle of sausage in the center of each pretzel. To make it easier to roll, you can cut the circle halfway through on one side.
Step 5
Fill the sausage with the filling. For the filling, mix chopped eggs (4 pieces) with green peas and grated cheese.
Step 6
Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, and add mayonnaise and sour cream.
Step 7
Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
