- Milk - 1½ cups
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Chocolate eggs - 5 pieces
- Butter - 4.4 oz
- Salt - ¾ teaspoon
- Citrus Zest Mix - 1 tablespoon
- Dry yeast - 1.1 oz

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add half of the flour, and let it rise. When the mixture has doubled in volume, add salt and egg yolks that have been beaten with sugar, mix, add the remaining flour, and knead the dough. Incorporate the grated lemon zest. Then add melted butter or margarine, knead the dough until it pulls away from the sides of the bowl and your hands. After that, let the dough rise, lightly sprinkle with flour, cover, and place in a warm place until it doubles in size.
Step 2
When the dough has risen, place it on a board, sprinkle with flour, and shape it into small pretzels; brush them with oil, sprinkle with sugar, and place in the oven for 10–12 minutes.
