Ingredients
- Puff Pastry - 2 pieces
- Apple - 3 pieces
- Walnuts - 12 pieces
- Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 1 teaspoon
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thaw the pastry.
Step 2
Lightly sprinkle the dough with flour.
Step 3
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, increasing its size by about two times.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
Step 5
Mix until well combined.
Step 6
Divide the rolled-out dough into six equal parts.
Step 7
Make small cuts 1 cm from the edge.
Step 8
Wash the apples and slice them into 1 cm thick rounds.
Step 9
Use a small lid to cut out the core.
Step 10
Dip each ring in the sugar mixture on both sides.
Step 11
Place on the squares of dough.
Step 12
Pinch the edges of the dough around the center of the ring.
Step 13
Press with a walnut.
Step 14
Place the pastries on parchment paper.
Step 15
Brush with egg yolk and place in a preheated oven at 374°F. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
Step 16
Sprinkle the finished pastries with powdered sugar.

Serve.
