- Puff Pastry - 16.6 oz
- Dried Apricots - 1.8 oz
- Apricot Jam - 1 jar
- Chopped almonds - 1.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
- Almond - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the almonds in a blender, finely chop the dried apricots, and mix with the apricot jam and almond extract.
Step 2
Roll out the dough and line a baking dish. Place the filling inside and cover the pie with a lattice of dough on top.
Step 3
Beat the egg and brush it over the pie.
Step 4
Bake for 30 minutes at 356°F, and sprinkle the finished pie with powdered sugar.
