Description
From 1 package of puff pastry, which consists of two sheets, you can make 2 pies, as the second sheet will not be needed to cover the filling. And while the pie may not look very appetizing, I assure you, it tastes simply magical.
Ingredients
- Frozen spinach discs - 14.1 oz
- Feta cheese - 8.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1 teaspoon
- Unleavened dough - 14.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thaw the puff pastry by taking it out of the freezer about an hour before cooking.
Step 2
Thaw the spinach and squeeze out the liquid, as there will be quite a bit. It's best to do this in a colander.
Step 3
Mash the feta cheese with a fork and mix it with the spinach.
Step 4
Lightly dust the pastry sheet with flour and roll it out a bit so it's not too thin. Place the filling in the center, fold the edges of the pastry, pinch the edges together, and make a small hole in the center for steam to escape.
Step 5
Place the future pie either in a baking dish or simply on a sheet of parchment paper (the second option is better, as you can just throw away the used paper later). Put it in a preheated oven at 392°F and bake until golden brown, as the filling is already fully cooked.
Step 6
Serve warm, as the filling will be very hot.
