Description
You can use turkey meat instead of chicken.
Ingredients
- Potato - 5.3 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Ground meat - 5.3 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Curry - 2 teaspoons
- Frozen green bean pods - 2.8 oz
- Puff Pastry - 2 pieces
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Toasted Sesame - 0.4 oz
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and dice the potato into cubes about 1 cm. Boil in salted water for about 10 minutes until cooked through. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic lightly to release their aroma, then add the curry. Stir and after a couple of seconds, add the chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, add the potato and peas (no need to thaw beforehand) to the skillet. Mix and remove the skillet from heat to cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 374°F.
Step 4
Roll out the puff pastry and use a round cookie cutter or a small bowl with a diameter of 10 cm to cut out circles (about 14 pieces are needed for this amount of filling). Place about a tablespoon of filling in each circle and tightly seal the edges of the pie.
Step 5
Place the pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
