- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 2.1 oz
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Wheat Flour - to taste
- Puff Pastry - 8.8 oz
- Large eggs - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the Parmesan and paprika, then season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
On a floured surface, roll out the pastry into a rectangle measuring 25x35 cm. Brush the top with lightly beaten egg and sprinkle with the cheese mixture. Gently roll with a rolling pin and roll up tightly from the short side into a log. Refrigerate for 25 minutes.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 4
Slice the log into small rounds and place them on a baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
