Puff Pastry Spirals with Sausage and Cheese
Ingredients
- Butter - 0.4 oz
- Cheese Spread - 2.8 oz
- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
- Doctor's Sausage - 2.8 oz
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Roll out the thawed puff pastry slightly on a floured surface. Cut into long strips 2 cm wide. There should be an even number of strips.
Step 2
Place sausage, cut into small rectangular pieces, on a strip of dough. Top with cheese. Cover with a second strip of dough. Pinch the edges together and carefully twist the pastry into a spiral.
Step 3
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with butter. Carefully transfer the spirals onto the baking sheet.
Step 4
Lightly beat the yolk and brush it over the pastry. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step 5
Place in a preheated oven (392°F) and bake for 15 minutes until golden and puffed up!!!
