Description
If you have canned pears left over from a compote and no time to spare, you can make these pastries without custard. They turn out delicious and juicy as well. The cooking time is significantly reduced in this case.
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Egg yolks - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 0.9 oz
- Vanilla - to taste
- Canned Pears in Light Syrup - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
While the pastry is thawing, prepare the custard.
Step 2
Heat the milk. Whisk the yolks with sugar, vanilla, and flour.
Step 3
Pour the hot milk into the yolks, mix well. Place on the heat and cook until thickened, stirring slowly and constantly.
Step 4
Next, prepare the pears. Drain them from the syrup and cut into pieces.
Step 5
Roll out the pastry and cut into any shapes (diamonds, circles, squares).
Step 6
Spread the custard on the pastry and place the pears on top. Sprinkle everything with cinnamon.
Step 7
Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes until ready.
