Ingredients
- Goat cheese - 7.1 oz
- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 7.1 oz
- Marinated cherries - 10.6 oz
- Fresh Rose Hips - 1 stem
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 4 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
You can use frozen puff pastry. Roll it out to a thickness of 4 mm. Cut into rectangles or squares. Arrange them with a small distance between each on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 2
Spread the tomato paste on the prepared dough (homemade is preferable). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Prepare the filling. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and mix it with the soft goat cheese. Place the resulting mixture on the puff pastry bases.
Step 4
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Place them cut side down on the cheese-covered bases (three tomato halves fit on each rectangular piece of dough).
Step 5
Sprinkle fresh rosemary on top.
Step 6
Bake in an oven preheated to 356°F for about 20 minutes (watch for the edges to rise).
