Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
  • Sparkling water - 8 fl oz
  • Baking Powder - a pinch
  • Saffron - a pinch
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable Oil - 10 fl oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

This recipe is great for squid, shrimp, other shellfish, brains, onions, and so on. Mix all the ingredients into a thick, sticky batter.

Step 2

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 356°F. Take a full tablespoon of batter, add your chosen filling, and place everything together in the skillet.

Step 3

Do everything quickly but carefully. Fry the puffy bites for 3–5 minutes until they are golden brown. Then drain on paper towels and serve hot.
