- Sugar - ½ cup
- Wheat Flour - 3½ cups
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Grated Ginger Root - 3 teaspoons
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Chestnut puree - 14.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and ginger.
Step 2
Cut the chilled butter into small pieces and add to the dry ingredients. Mix well with your hands.
Step 3
Add the pumpkin puree to the dough and mix well.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 428°F.

Grease a baking sheet with butter.
Step 6
On a floured surface, lightly roll out the dough and cut out circles with a glass. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until done.
