- Ricotta cheese - 21.9 oz
- Chestnut puree - 15.9 oz
- Large eggs - 2 pieces
- Brown Sugar - ½ cup
- Orange zest - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
- Shortcrust Cake Mix - 17.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Roll out the pastry and place it in a round baking dish, pricking it several times with a fork. Place a sheet of parchment paper on top and add beans to prevent the pastry from rising during baking. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until light golden brown. Remove the paper and beans.
Step 3
In a food processor, combine the ricotta, pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, orange zest, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Blend until smooth.
Step 4
Pour the filling onto the pastry and bake for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Then reduce the temperature to 356°F and bake for another 35 minutes until set.
Step 6
Cool and serve.
